Llawen Farm is dedicated to breeding Welsh Cobs and Ponies for temperament and versatility. Welsh Cobs and Ponies are well known for their intelligence, laid back nature and willingness, as well as an ability to excel in any discipline. They are ideally suited to eventing, and our special interest is in breeding Welsh Cobs for eventing. The Welsh Cob is the quintessential all - around horse / pony. Their size makes them suitable for adults or children who don't need a giant horse, but who would prefer something with character that their legs fit nicely around.
Llawen Farm is also dedicated to sustainable farming and humane animal husbandry. We have horses, cattle, chickens, goats, pigs, dogs, cats and 4 peacocks, not to mention an abundance of wildlife. We are on the way to becoming certifiably organic and produce our own hay for our animals with the help of Simply Grazin' organic farmers.

When I was a girl, growing up in Wales, I saw this majestic stallion competing in the Royal Welsh show, along with several other wonderful studs.
